How our filter works harder

HRV is proud to offer world leading filtration technology.

The HRV Filter uses Synsafe Ultra F7 Filter media. Developed specifically for HRV in Sweden, the media has an inherent electrostatic charge and huge surface area. It is 95% efficient at capturing 0.4micron particles - the hardest size to catch.

The HRV Seta™ Filter uses electrostatic attraction to attract fine dust to the filter media from the moment the filter is installed. Traditional filters have to wait until layers of dust start to clog the filter for them to reach their efficiency standards.

In addition, HRV is providing a world leading nanofibre technology to the filter. Seta™ air filters are leading-edge Kiwi innovation. Developed specifically for HRV, an antimicrobial web of nanofibres is applied to the filter to capture allergens, bacteria and other nasties before they enter the home. The technology is chemical free - using manuka extracts as the active ingredient.

 

Warming and cooling without the cost

With HRV you can add warmth to your home in winter months, by drawing in warm air from your roof space when available. On those warm, sticky summer evenings, cool air is brought in from outside. All this for the same running cost as a small light bulb.
