Feel the difference in your home
Fresh, filtered air is brought in, old air is removed. The HRV
home ventilation system is installed in your roof space, changing
the air in your home to expel excess moisture, toxins and odours
created by cooking, cleaning, breathing and other sources. Incoming
air is filtered to remove dusts, pollens and other contaminants,
preventing mould and mildew for a fresher, healthier home.
HRV systems provide your home with more airflow, more often.
Because of the high amount of air passing through our systems, HRV
filters have been built to meet much higher standards than regular
ventilation systems and are locally designed and tested for
exclusive use in the New Zealand invironment. Graduated density
fabric and longer-lasting deep pleats in our filters create an
incredibly high surface area that captures not only large
particles, but also smaller lung-damaging particles at an F8
efficiency. Each filter utilises world-leading nanofibre
technology; ultra thin fibres 500 times thinner than a human hair
and are electrostatically charged to ensure they work from day one
to attract and capture over 90% of dust particles, spores, pollen,
bacteria and other nasties as tiny as 0.4 of a micron.
SETA filters are also naturally anti-bacterial. Nanofibres are
infused with manuka extracts, sourced from the East Cape of New
Zealand to provide natural protection against bacteria, fungus and
HRV filters are designed specifically for HRV systems. This
ensures they seal tight to hold their shape. An overlapping seal
ensures there are no gaps that particles can sneak around the
HRV systems also incorporate an optional secondary diffuser
filter. This unique innovation provides an extra layer of
filtration where you need it most - at the last point of contact
before the air enters the home.
This technology is just one of the many world-firsts that have
gone into making HRV systems #1 in home filtration. We were the
first to nano-fibres and first to offer diffuser filters in our
products, something our innovation partner Revolution Fibres were
recognised for recently as the recipients of the 2012 Supreme
Winners Award at the NZ Innovation Awards.
Warming and cooling without the cost
With HRV you can add warmth to your home in winter months, by
drawing in warm air from your roof space when available. On those
warm, sticky summer evenings, cool air is brought in from outside.
All this for the same running cost as a small light bulb.
What's the HRV difference?
HRV systems introduce more air, and higher
quality air, due to our innovative filtration system. Our fully
automatic control system tests and displays both the incoming air
temperature and the home temperature. What does this all mean? A
stronger ventilation system for a dryer home (after all, the sheets
dry better on the line with a stronger breeze). A world class air
filtration system: as there's no point expelling contaminants from
the home only to bring others in again. And the ability to choose
the perfect inside temperature, at all times.
The HRV is quick and easy to install,
unobtrusive, fully automatic and whisper quiet. Click below to get
