Fans of all ages enjoy
the HRV Cup
It was a great family atmosphere on Tuesday night, 26th January
where fans watched a nail biting finish as the Auckland Aces
and the Otago Volts went into extra overs to fight for a place in
the final of the HRV Cup Men's Domestic Twenty20
Cricket.

The warm sunny evening and the smell of BBQ hotdogs set the
scene for a perfect family atmosphere. While some fans loved
watching the game others had various activities around the venue
including games of cricket with makeshift wickets (HRV
banners).

Half time at Colin Maiden park and hundreds of eager kids get a
chance to rub shoulders and grab an autograph with their
favorite players.

Although Otago won on final score, it was Auckland that had the
better run rate putting them into the final against the
Central Stags which is to be played at Pukekura Park in New
Plymouth, Sunday 31st Jan 1pm.
