    What is a silent auction?

    A silent auction is a fantastic opportunity to win the HRV Classic Pro Ventilation system, at a price you choose. You and other bidders submit your bids privately, so you won’t see what others are offering. The "silent" aspect allows everyone to bid on their own terms, making it a unique and exciting experience!

    What happens after I place a bid?

    Fingers crossed! Once you place your bid, we'll collect it along with the others, so sit tight and await our announcement of the highest bidder. The highest bid received by 11.59pm Monday 7th April 2025, will receive the HRV Classic Pro Ventilation system at their bid price. Good luck!

    How do I know if I've won?

    If you have the highest bid and are the winner, you will be contacted via email and phone to inform you that you've won the silent auction. The HRV team will then arrange the installation of the HRV Classic Pro Ventilation system and arrange payment of the agreed bid price.

    Am I eligible to place a bid?

    To be eligible to bid, you must be a New Zealand resident in the Bay of Plenty or Wellington region, own your home, and have a suitable roof cavity.

    How do I place a bid?

    Do I need to pay for my bid now?

    No. Only the winning bidder will need to make payment. If you are the winner then you will need to fulfil your bid and pay for your Classic Pro Ventilation System upon receiving the quote at the confirmed bid price.

    How will the HRV home ventilation system be installed?

    The HRV team will arrange a free in-home assessment and then, upon confirmation of the installation plan, they will professionally install the ventilation system in your home.

    Terms and conditions

    • The auction is live from Wednesday 5th of March 2025 to 11.59pm Monday 7th of April 2025.
    • The auction is for the supply and installation of a HRV Classic Pro Ventilation System (with 1 Fan and 4 Outlets) in the Wellington or Bay of Plenty regions.
    • The customer with the highest bid price submitted to HRV by 11.59pm Monday 7th of April 2025 will be the winner.
    • Subject to your right to cancel in the event of additional installation costs being required, by submitting a bid you agree to pay that price to HRV for the purchase and installation of the Classic Pro Ventilation system (1 Fan, 4 Outlets). RRP $4,790
    • The auction includes a standard installation and is subject to a free home assessment and sizing.
    • Additional installation costs may apply following an in-home assessment. We will always agree all costs upfront with you.
    • The winner will be confirmed on Monday 14th of April 2025 at 9am and notified by email or phone.
    • The silent auction is only for the Wellington and Bay of Plenty, New Zealand residents.
    • To be eligible for this silent auction you must be a Wellington or Bay of Plenty New Zealand resident, be the homeowner and have a suitable roof cavity.
    • Auction purchase cannot be exchanged or transferred for cash or any other items.
    • HRV is the promoter of this auction and reserves the right to alter, modify, or update the terms and conditions of this auction.
