HRV Manawatu
The Manawatu is built around Palmerston North, from established suburbs like Takaro and Roslyn through to Hokowhitu and Awapuni, and out to the surrounding farming towns of Feilding and Ashhurst. Sitting inland, the region sees cold, frosty winter mornings and the well-known Manawatu wind, both of which put real pressure on how well a home holds its heat and manages moisture.
In Palmerston North's older established suburbs, that combination of cold mornings and limited insulation often shows up as condensation on the windows and a chilly start to the day no matter how early the heating goes on. In newer homes around the city's edges and in nearby Feilding, tighter modern construction more often traps stale air indoors instead.
Our Manawatu team sees both ends of that spectrum every week, and we fit ventilation, heating and cooling to the home in front of us rather than a one-size-fits-all package.

Products & Services
Home Ventilation
HRV Classic and HRV Classic Pro balanced ventilation systems draw in fresh, filtered air and push out the stale, moisture-laden air that causes condensation and mould, a common issue in both older villas and newer apartments. An optional Summer Kit and Vortex extractor fan can be added alongside your core system.

Heat Pumps & Air Conditioning
We install genuine, HRV-stocked brands only: Panasonic, Mitsubishi, Haier, Nobo and Pioneer. Whether you're heating a one-bedroom apartment or a full family home, we'll size and specify the right unit for your home rather than upselling you into something bigger than you need.

Hot Water Heat Pumps
HRV also installs Haier and Panasonic hot water heat pumps, a more efficient way to heat your household water than a standard hot water cylinder. Ask the team about current offers, as pricing changes from time to time.

“These are absolutely brilliant bits of kit people. We have a four bedroom Villa with 14ft stud. Since having an HRV system installed the house is dryer, no more condensation on windows. It is so much easier and quicker to warm a dry house plus no mold. Recommend these systems folk, really do”
- Rex Cuff, Google Review
“We recently had Kyran from HRV manawatu come to our rental for a routine filter change. He was extremely professional and so wonderful to deal with. My baby was sleeping and he was so quiet and respectful while completing the job. I rang him a few weeks later with a question and he was more than happy to help. You dont find customer service like that much now a days! Thanks Kyran!!”
- Tiana Greer, Google Review
“We have had 2 HRV systems over the last 15 years and have always kept up with regular filter changes and system check. Today we have had a visit from Damian from Manawatu. He was extremely professional and knowledgable and a pleasure to have in our home.”
