HRV Nelson/Marlborough
Nelson and Marlborough sit at the Top of the South, known for some of the sunniest weather in New Zealand, but that sunshine comes with a catch: clear skies overnight mean sharp frosts are common through winter, and that combination of warm days and cold nights drives condensation in a lot of local homes.
In Nelson's older character homes around the city, Stoke and Tahunanui, that shows up as damp windows and musty rooms on frosty mornings. HRV Classic and HRV Classic Pro balanced ventilation systems draw in fresh, filtered air and push out the stale, moisture-laden air that causes condensation and mould, a common issue in both older villas and newer apartments.
